Clinical Practice

Individual, family, group

We offer sessions for individuals, families and groups based on telephone intake and an initial in-person session.  E-mail and telephone consultations are kept to a minimum as we have a core belief that we all need an opportunity to meet in person and decide if the ‘fit’ is right.  See Therapeutic Practice Orientation for more information.

  • Individual, couple and family groups usually meet for 50 minute sessions.
  • Individual EMDR sessions are usually 80 minute sessions.

Clinical Supervision / Consultation

Exploring clinical issues as they arise in our work is essential.  Maintaining boundaries and ethics is of the utmost importance.  Insight oriented & analytic review of cases as a group or individual sessions is available.
Involves a similar orientation focused centrally on client, the therapeutic relationship and therapeutic approach.

If you are a clinician interested in developing a peer supervision group contact Lori 289-241-8572

As part of our professional practice, we seek regular consultation with a peer supervision group where we discuss our therapeutic work, approach and dynamics in the therapeutic relationship. No identifying information is shared during this supervision.  Periodically, we purchase clinical supervision from specialists in aspects of the field of psychotherapy.
